Reap Textiles

About Reap Textiles

Working with fabrics that have lived previous lives or that would otherwise go to waste to create functional items that can be used for years to come.

The tool rolls and other textile products available on this site are made by me, Lydia, in my home studio in the East Midlands, UK.

Since its beginning in 2020, the principle of Reap Textiles has been to use second-hand or factory second materials to create useful and pleasing objects which are designed to be used for a long time.

My original and most popular product is the tool roll, but I also make climbing chalk bags, and roll up backgammon sets. I am always open to new ideas for practical products to make from cloth!

Custom orders and wholesale enquiries are welcome; please get in touch via the contact page or at reaptextiles@gmail.com.

About Jazhandcrafts

Working with nature to craft beautifully functional objects using green wood and hand tools.

The woodenware on this website is made by my partner, Jaz, a woodcarver and pole lathe turner based in the East Midlands, UK. He designs and makes beautiful everyday items that inspire use.

“Influenced by the process and the medium, I embrace and welcome the charming imperfections of a natural material like wood; at the same time I obsess over finish and design. In the middle ground I hope to deliver hand crafted items with warmth and finesse, not disconnected from the tree and the tools that I’ve used.

I hope you find the treen of your dreams,

Jaz”
