A dark brown waxed canvas backgammon board with the classic contrasting triangles, a zip pocket to keep counters and dice secure, and a fabric tie to keep it rolled up.

Dark and light birchwood pieces, two sets of dice (black and white) and a doubling dice are included. Please note that the pieces and dice included may vary slightly from the photos.

Description

This backgammon roll is made from a very dark brown waxed canvas with contrasting cotton canvas for the triangles. As the fabric is waxed it shouldn’t be put in the washing machine, but it is resistant to water and staining.

It is handmade by me, Lydia (@reaptextiles), and all the the fabrics I use are sourced second hand, used or unused, or as factory seconds. It is important to me to use sustainably sourced materials and to make use of a range of fabrics which are already in existence rather than buying new ones.
