Description
This roll is made from a dark navy blue waxed canvas with a golden paisley style cotton print as the lining. The lining fabric is hard to capture in photos but it has a subtle gold sheen and a background mix of other colours which creates a beautiful effect.
As the outer fabric is waxed it shouldn’t be put in the washing machine, but it is resistant to water and staining.
It is handmade by me, Lydia (@reaptextiles), and all the the fabrics I use are sourced second hand, used or unused, or as factory seconds. It is important to me to use sustainably sourced materials and to make use of a range of fabrics which are already in existence rather than buying new ones.
